Car 11 is a 2010 Chevrolet Silverado 2500 Crew Cab and acts as the Fredonia Fire Command Vehicle.



Fredonia Fire Department operates 3 ALS ambulance’s. Rescue 12 is a 2019 Ford/Medix Type III, Rescue 15 is a 2013 International/Horton. and Rescue 14 is a 2005 Freightliner/McCoy Miller. All ambulance’s are outfitted with matching equipment to ensure unity for the operators. Each carries a Lifepak 12 Cardiac Monitor, Lucas 2 CPR machines, Stryker automatic lift stretchers, and miscellaneous tools and equipment.


Fredonia Fire operates 3 pumpers. Engine 15 is a 2014 Spartan ERV 1500 GPM pump with 1000 gallon water tank, LED light tower, and automatic remote deck gun. Engine 14 is a 2001 Spartan/Saulsbury 1500 GPM pump with 750 gallon water tank. Engine 12 is a 1992 E-One 1250 GPM pump with 750 gallon water tank. Engine 15 and 14 also carry HURST tool generators and a selection of other extrication tools. Each pumper carries about 1000 feet of Large Diameter Hose, 800 feet of 2 1/2’’ hose, 500 feet of 1 3/4’’ attack hose, 100 foot 1 1/2’’ rubber bumper line, and 150 foot 1’’ booster lines. They also carry a varying selection of ground ladders.



Tower 18 is a 1999 E-ONE Bronto Skylift Tower Ladder. It has a 118’ ladder with an articulating boom and bucket that holds 2-3 personnel. When fully jacked out and extended the maximum height the bucket will reach is approximately 130’. The bucket has an automatic nozzle on it that is capable of flowing up to 1500 GPM. The truck also has a generator, 2000 GPM pump, Large Diameter Hose, 500 feet of 1 3/4’’ attack line, and 100 feet of 1 1/2’’ rubber bumper line. Multiple saws, and ground ladders are carried in long side tray compartments.

Miscellaneous 15 is a GMC Kodiak/E-ONE Body Medium rescue that is used to house specialized rescue equipment such as a HURST generator with full compliment of cutter/spreader/and combo tools, hydraulic rams, and air bags. It also carries an ice rescue sled, strokes basket, ropes, shovels, brooms, saws, and other hand tools



Rescue 11 is a 1990 Chevrolet/Utilimaster Heavy Rescue Truck equipped with a SCBA Cascade System and various equipment.



Chautauqua County Emergency Services operates two rescue type vehicles that service all of Chautauqua County on major incidents such as hazmat calls, fires, dive operations and rope rescues. Fredonia Fire houses Rescue 71. It is a GMC Kodiak/Horton Body rescue vehicle that has a 6 bottle cascade system for filling air bottles of different types, foam, and rope rescue equipment. It also has a light tower to ensure visibility at scenes.
